10 Things You Can Do Now to Improve Your Life!

All of us want to have happier and more satisfying life experiences. We would also like to avoid suffering as much as possible and be able to focus on enjoying life! Even so we often put our happiness on a future shelf, and focus on “the task at hand,” that we think we need to accomplish before we can enjoy the fruits of our labors.

If we were to stop and consider our lives realistically we would see that the only time we ever have is right now. We always live in the present moment. The past is a fading memory, and the future is a fluid concept that changes drastically from day-to-day, depending on the choices we make now in this present moment.

The Positive Power of Laughter! :D

What is it about a good laugh that can just melt your stress away, and turn a bad day back into a good day? How can we utilize this wonderful gift more often?

I was busy at work today as usual, and could hear one of my co-workers getting more and more stressed as her work load piled up on her, and customers yelled at her on the phone despite her best efforts to explain procedures that needed to be followed in order for her to help them resolve their issues. Finally after one particularly difficult call, I turned to her and calmly suggested that perhaps that last customer really needed a laxative, and that was why he was so uptight and cranky with her!
